Wednesday 12 November 2025 |
We will pick you up from our designated pick-up points and drive up the M1 motorway towards Belfast. On arrival in Belfast, we will have a local guide board the coach and do an orientation tour taking in all that the City has to offer from the bustling University to the notorious political murals of East & West Belfast which depict in their own unique way the turbulent events of the so called 'Troubles'. We also visit the Titanic Quarter, home to colossal cranes of Harland & Wolff and the final location of the recently returned SS Nomadic, tender to the ill-fated Titanic and only surviving vessel from the White Star Line. After the tour, we will check into your City Centre hotel and the remainder of the afternoon will be at your leisure. Dinner will be in the hotel in the evening. (D,B&B)
Thursday 13 November 2025 |
After breakfast we will depart the hotel and travel the short distance to Lisburn to the Eikon Exhibition Centre for a full day at the newly branded Knit & Stitch Show. Here you can meet up with like-minded crafters, discuss ideas, learn new skills, find inspiration and shop for your annual craft supplies, including wool, beads and beyond from household name brands and specialist suppliers – all under one roof. |
After the show, at a designated time, you will board the coach and return to the hotel. Dinner this evening will be at your leisure to choose from some of the many bars/restaurants the City has to offer – or you may prefer to stay and eat in the hotel restaurant. (B&B)
Friday 14 November 2025 |
After breakfast, we will check out of our hotel and drive along the Ards Peninsula to visit the fabulous Mount Stewart House and Gardens. Mount Stewart, located on the shores of Strangford Lough in County Down, is one of Northern Ireland’s much loved family homes. Voted as one of the top ten gardens in the world, Mount Stewart reflects a rich tapestry of design and planting artistry bearing the hallmark of its creator. Edith, Lady Londonderry’s passion for bold planting schemes coupled with the mild climate of Strangford Lough allows rare and tender plants from across the globe to thrive in this celebrated garden. |
After our visit, we will board the coach and make our way along the Ards Peninsula to board the small ferry across Strangford Lough to Downpatrick. After visiting St. Patrick’s grave at the Church of Ireland Cathedral, there will be some free time before we make our way south and back to your original pick-up points. | Please note terms and conditions apply. |
