| After breakfast we will be joined by a local guide and we will set off for a full day visit to the world-famous Eden Project – a truly ‘global’ garden in a breathtaking location, whose art and architecture draw inspiration from nature. The emphasis here is firmly on the environment and sustainability but Eden is also about simple pleasures enjoying tasty food, taking time to stop and smell the flowers and having a good time! | Wednesday 8th July 2026 |
| Today we will be joined by a local guide for the day and we will set off to the pretty fishing town of Padstow – made famous by the TV chef, Rick Stein. The colourful working harbour sits among pastel washed medieval houses. We continue along the coast and you will pass by Tintagel where the ruins of the Castle can be seen on the distant headland, the ruins of a place inextricably linked with the legend of King Arthur. Our final stop is the village of Boscastle, a picturesque natural harbour and village, mostly owned by the National Trust. The Elizabethan quay sits in an impressive amphitheatre of steep cliffs and is home to quaint stone-built cottages, shops and tea-rooms. We will return to the hotel in time for dinner in the evening. | Thursday 9th July 2026 |
| Today’s guided excursion takes us on a tour through the Dartmoor National Park where we will visit picture postcard villages like Princetown and Postbridge. We soon arrive in Exeter, Devon’s capital located on the River Exe, and we have plenty of free time to explore this fine city full of character and ancient history. Exeter’s Quayside has a lovely atmosphere in which to relax and you can see the historic Customs House and other buildings dating back to Charles II. Return to the hotel. (D,B&B) | | |

It’s also a place where you can discover a range of arts and culture, excellent local food and some unique attractions. After some free time to explore this beautiful seaside town and have some lunch we will depart and head for Bristol with stops en-route. Check into our hotel for an overnight.
