Attendance at the 2009 Scottish Game Fair held in the grounds of Scone Palace, Perthshire, was over 36,000, beating all previous records. Visitors come to the three-day Fair to enjoy the lively and friendly atmosphere, to hunt for bargains in over 300 trade stands, to learn more about their countryside, to see a huge variety of displays and demonstrations and to test their skills in a wide range of competitions.

ITINERARY
FRIDAY 2ND JULY
Depart from one of our pick up points throughout Ireland then we drive to Belfast and board the ferry to Stranraer. Our route takes us along the Ayrshire coast, past Glasgow and Edinburgh, across the Forth Road Bridge and through Fife until we reach our hotel on the banks of the River Tay in Dundee. There will be rest stops en route. We arrive late afternoon then enjoy dinner in the hotel and a leisurely evening. (Dinner, B&B)
SATURDAY 3RD JULY
After a hearty Scottish breakfast we drive to the Game Fair which takes place in the grounds of historic Scone Palace. Attractions include falconry displays, sheepdog displays, fishing displays and competitions. Pipe bands, skydiving displays and tug-ofwars all keep the crowd entertained, along with plenty of food, drink and music. We enjoy a full day at the event then return to the hotel in time for dinner and to enjoy the hotel facilities. (Dinner, B&B)
SUNDAY 4TH JULY
Today we enjoy another full day at the Fair in its splendid setting. We return to hotel for evening dinner. (Dinner, B&B)
MONDAY 5TH JULY
We leave Dundee this morning and retrace our steps to Stranraer for the ferry to Belfast. After disembarkation we will transfer you to your original pick up points. |
