ITINERARY
DAY ONE - SUNDAY
Pick up points throughout Ireland then, after lunch en route, we arrive into our hotel, the Dunadry Hotel, just 15 minutes outside Belfast. This four star hotel is one of Northern Ireland’s finest hotels boasting 83 luxury bedrooms and situated in its own scenic and manicured grounds. The hotel is a place of elegance and an unmistakable charm with friendly local staff to greet you. It’s a place of fine dining and true relaxation. The hotel also has a fantastic leisure centre with swimming pool, Jacuzzi and steam room. Dinner will be served in the luxurious dining room at 19.00hrs. Evening at leisure.
DAY TWO - MONDAY
After a full Northern Irish breakfast we take the short drive into Belfast for a detailed city tour taking in the sights of the newly regenerated peaceful city. Our tour will take you to City Hall, Stormont Government Buildings, the Titanic Quarter, Queens University, East and West Belfast and all the interesting sites that the city has to offer. The afternoon is free to perhaps shop in the new Victoria Shopping Centre or in the famous Castle Court. Your luxury coach will collect you at 17.00hrs and bring you back to the hotel for evening dinner with music in the bar afterwards supplied by Kavanagh Travel.
DAY THREE - TUESDAY
After breakfast a beautiful day awaits us. A lovely drive up along the Antrim Coast taking in such villages and glens as Carnlough, Cushendall, Cushendun, Glenarm, Glendun, Ballycastle and Glenballylemon. Our highlight of the day is a visit to the World Heritage Site of the Giant’s Causeway. This geological treasure of Basalt rock formed by the Giant Finn MaCool awaits our visit. In the afternoon we take the short drive to the city of Derry for a brief city tour followed by a visit to the Foyleside Shopping Centre. Return to hotel for evening dinner. Evening at leisure.
DAY FOUR - WEDNESDAY
A late start today with departure from your hotel at noon for the short 20 minute drive to the town of Antrim for your leisurely afternoon at the new Junction One shopping centre. Junction One has over 100 high street brand name stores all at keen keen prices. Avail of the strong Euro exchange rate. Dinner will be at 19.00hrs with an evening of humour, music and dance in the hotel’s function room.
DAY FIVE - THURSDAY
Again after a late start we leave the hotel at 11.00hrs for the short drive to the Ecclesiastical city of Armagh. Following a brief city tour taking in the Francis Johnston designed Georgian Mall and Armagh women’s prison, St Patrick’s Cathedral and the Armagh Trian Centre, we stop for lunch at the renowned Armagh City Hotel. We then spend a short afternoon in the city centre to browse the shops before returning to our hotel for evening dinner at 19.00hrs. Evening at leisure.
DAY SIX - FRIDAY
After breakfast check out for return journey homewards after saying goodbye to Northern Ireland and all its capital cities. This six day tour bring all of the province together in one very inexpensive week staying in the luxurious Four Star Dunadry Hotel.
