Kavanagh Travel is proud to present its new Ski programme, specially formulated for school groups. From Andorra, high in the Pyrenees, to the slopes of Mount Rila in Bulgaria or the ever-popular ski-fields of Vermont, USA, we can offer packages tailored to fit the exact requirements of your school.
Naturally, it’s safety all the way with Kavanagh Travel. Our experienced drivers will transport your group by luxury coach, fitted with seat belts, to your choice of resort where on-site representatives will be ready to assist in every aspect of your holiday.
For groups travelling by air, we have selected reputable companies to provide all local transportation to, from and around the resort.
We have chosen hotels that provide good quality accommodation and hearty, healthy meals to ensure students are well fed and rested ready for their days on the slopes.
All ski instructors are qualified and English-speaking. Your party will be split into smaller groups for tuition, according to experience, to allow students to gain maximum benefit and value from the lessons.

All ski quotations include:
- Transportation to and from resort
- Services of on-site local representatives
- Hotel accommodation on dinner, bed and breakfast basis
- Hire of skis, poles and ski boots
- Lift passes as appropriate
- Ski School lessons on each full day in resort (usually 4 hours daily)
Andorra
This tiny country in the Pyrenees offers excellent skiing for all abilities and reliable snowfall.
- Soldeu
This resort is part of the extensive GrandValira ski area with almost 200km of runs to suit skiers of all abilities.
There are 63 lifts to access the piste.
- Arinsal
Is part of the Vallnord ski area and is particularly suitable for beginners and intermediates.
Arinsal is an attractive resort and there are 68km of piste to choose from, with 30 lifts.
Bulgaria
Bulgaria is becoming more and more popular as a winter sports destination and provides great value for money.
- Borovets
Borovets is Bulgaria’s largest ski resort, situated at an altitude of 1300m on the northern slopes of Mount Rila. With 58km of marked ski runs, 15 lifts and a brand new snow-making system, the resort is ideal for skiers of all abilities. Its ski schools are excellent and there are many apres-ski facilities to enjoy.
- Pamporovo
Known as the pearl of the Bulgarian mountain resorts, is located in the heart of the beautiful Rhodope Mountains. It has 25km of piste and 12 lifts. Ideal for beginners and intermediates, Pamporovo also has some testing red and black runs for advanced skiers.
France
The French Alps have some of the world’s greatest ski areas with superb resorts catering to all abilities.
- Les Menuires
Part of the famous Three Valleys ski area, this purposebuilt resort offers great skiing with access to 600km of runs and many lifts. Apres-ski facilities include an excellent leisure complex with swimming pool, basketball and table tennis, or an ice-rink.
Italy
Italy has a wide range of resorts with excellent facilities both on and off the slopes.
- Falcade-Caviola
This resort in the spectacular Dolomites has direct access to 80km of downhill skiing, with 20 individual pistes, served by 10 ski lifts. With skiing above 2000 metres, snow cover is generally reliable.
USA
For great skiing, amazing scenery and lots of fun, skiing in the USA is a wonderful experience.
- Killington, Vermont
This fantastic resort in New England is set in a vast and picturesque ski area. There are 152km of piste and 30 lifts. The ski school is excellent and beginners will progress fast to tackle the novice trails with wonderful views.
- Stowe, Vermont
This historic and charming town is full of character and has a wonderful atmosphere. There are 63km of runs and 12 lifts. Beginners will learn on the Easy Street trail on Spruce Peak and will soon enjoy some long, exhilarating runs.
