Scotgrass, organised by the Agricultural Engineers Association, will take place at
Acrehead Farm, at the Scottish Agricultural College’s Dairy Research Unit, Crichton Royal, Dumfries. This is an important event for grassland farmers everywhere and a great forum for ideas. The venue has excellent facilities for working demonstrations of grass conservation machinery, products and services and, in addition to these, there will be at least two fields dedicated to slurry application. They will feature systems that minimise GHG emissions and maximise fertiliser utilisation.
