The HMT Show is undoubtedly the biggest collection of Vintage tractors on the planet! With over 2000 tractors on display we will see everything from the earliest European Hanomag and Allis Chalmers models to American Mustangs and Bristol Crawlers. In 2010 there will be an interesting collection of the first Fendt tractors, ranging from 19hp – a far cry from the Fendt tractors of today! We’ll see B.M.B. Presidents, Farmall Cubs, early Volvos from Scandinavia and ex-army Volvos with almost no hours on the clock. There’ll be hundreds of Ferguson TE20s and many small one and two cylinder European tractors, as well as a limited number of David Brown 50Ds, all the way from Sweden.
The HMT Show has the whole spectrum of the Vintage and Classic tractor world in one place for you to admire and enjoy. Of course there’ll also be side-shows, trade stands, an autojumble, tractor-pulling and everything you’d expect from a show of this scale. Don’t forget that our large coach luggage compartments are available to transport that very important part you’ve been looking for. The trip also includes a visit to a large collection of Vintage tractors and machinery and an exclusive visit to an agricultural contractor who specialises in deep ploughing.

ITINERARY
THURSDAY 22ND JULY
Pick ups from local areas then we drive to Dublin for the ferry to Holyhead and continue to Hull for the overnight cruise ferry to Rotterdam. En suite cabins and meals on board are included. (Dinner, B&B)
FRIDAY 23RD JULY
En route to Eindhoven we stop to visit a large collection of Vintage and Classic tractors and machinery between Breda and Tilburg. We arrive into our hotel mid-afternoon, then the evening is at leisure. (B&B)
SATURDAY 24TH JULY
Enjoy the first of our two full days at the HMT Show. We spend the whole day here and there are plenty of opportunities for refreshments on site. (B&B)
SUNDAY 25TH JULY
Our second day at the HMT Show – make sure you haven’t missed a thing! (B&B)
MONDAY 26TH JULY
We check out of the hotel this morning and drive for an hour and a half to a village north of Utrecht, near Amsterdam. Here, weather permitting, we have a fantastic exclusive visit to an agricultural contractor who specialises in deep ploughing, essential in the heavy ground of the northern Netherlands. (Check out diepploegen met Fendt on the Youtube website). Afterwards, we return to Rotterdam, Europe’s largest container port and a fine maritime city, for free time before we board the overnight cruise ferry back to Hull. (Dinner, B&B)
TUESDAY 27TH JULY
We disembark in Hull this morning and return across the Pennines to Holyhead for the ferry to Dublin and onward transfers to original pick up points. |
