Over 10,000 visitors are expected to attend this annual event, where 200 exhibitors from over 10 countries will be presenting a complete range of information covering all aspects of the potato. This is a unique opportunity to acquire the most up-to-date knowledge about modern potato production and processing. The spotlight will be on the areas of breeding, fertilising, plant protection, machinery and equipment and there will be trial plots with demonstrations of machinery and information events.

HOTEL
The 4* Mercure Hotel has 105 rooms and is located in the centre of Hamelin, close to the old town. Facilities include a restaurant, bar, swimming pool, sauna and steam room.
ITINERARY
Tuesday 7th September
Depart Dublin Airport on the 12.05hrs Lufthansa flight to Hanover, via Frankfurt, arriving Hanover at 18.30hrs. Transfer by luxury coach to the Mercure Hotel in Hamelin, city of ‘The Pied Piper’. Dinner will be served in the hotel on arrival then enjoy an evening at leisure.
Wednesday 8th September
After breakfast, it’s a short drive to Bockerode and the Potato Europe event. Spend the day here then transfer back to the hotel late afternoon. A two-day entrance ticket is included in the tour price. Dinner at the hotel and evening at leisure.
Thursday 9th September
Check out of the hotel this morning and spend a second day at Potato Europe before heading straight to Hanover Airport for the 19.15hrs flight to Dublin, via Frankfurt, arriving Dublin at 22.35hrs.
